The initial problem being tackled was the frustration of painting 25mm textured bases to represent the properties of contrast/wash paints, as these paints often don’t show their true color in the bottle. Additionally, the process of matching paints to a color chart for us was inconvenient.
The solution we offer is a 3D-printed cap ring that can be glued directly onto the original paint bottle cap, showing the true paint’s properties. These rings are made of high-quality light grey resin and are provided unpainted for you to prime and paint as you would do to your own expensive models.
