FEATURES:
- These end caps, replace the clear AK button protector caps.
- DO NOT GLUE ON, these are a tight push fit, and will need to be pulled off when you wish to use the pen, so that you can press the paint release button.
- We do recommened you perhaps varnish the caps to make them more hard wearing due to regular removal.
- Blank (non-named) Caps are also compatible with both the AK Quick and Play marker sets
WHY CHOOSE THE NAMED SET?
Due to some circumstances you may have two or more caps removed that are very similier in colour tone – with buying the named set, will quarantee the correct colour end cap goes back on the correct pen.
(various shaded of greens, yellows and browns for instance are very close to each others shade)
FACING THE PROBLEM
The initial problem being tackled was the frustration of finding a true colour representation of contrast/wash paints, as these paints often don’t show their true colour inside the pen. Additionally, the process of matching paints to a colour chart for us was inconvenient.
The solution we offer is a 3D-printed end cap that can be simply pushed in place over the bottom end of the paint pen. These caps are made of high-quality light grey resin and are provided unpainted for you to prime, paint and varnish as you would do to your own expensive models.
